The Danvers Township Library Makerspace room is available for use to card-holders and reciprocal borrowers who have registered their card with the library. Use of this room is limited to patrons 14 years and up. Patrons under the age of 14 wishing to use it must be accompanied by an adult caregiver above the age of 14 who will be present at all times. Additionally, all patrons wishing to use the makerspace room will be required to sign a waiver that will be kept on file for access by library staff. Patrons under 14 signing the waiver must have a parent's or guardian's signature in addition to their own.
Danvers Township Library officers, employees, volunteers, committees, and Board of Trustees are held harmless from and against any and all liability, loss, damages, claims, or actions (including attorney’s fees and court costs) for bodily injury and/or property damage, to the extent permissible by law.
Patrons are financially responsible for any equipment damage resulting from negligent, reckless, or wrongful use. This indemnification and hold harmless agreement shall include indemnity against all costs (including, without limitation, attorney's fees and court costs), expenses and liabilities incurred in connection with any such claim or proceeding brought thereon and in defense thereof, or other claims brought by third parties (including other participating patrons) if related to my actions. Any damages or infractions may result in revoking patron's privileges.
Additionally, by submitting content or objects for printing on the library’s 3D printer, the patron agrees to assume all responsibility for, and shall hold the library harmless in all matters related to patented, trademarked, or copyrighted materials.
