Danvers Township Library is a public library located in Danvers Township, McLean County, Illinois. The library serves 1,925 residents. Danvers was founded in 1836. Home of Olympia North Elementary, which serves Danvers & Stanford.
The Danvers Township Library has a collection of more than 20,000 books, 35,000 E-books, 3,700 DVDs & Blue-Ray discs, 120 audio books, over 30 specialty cake pans, and periodicals, plus a variety of reference materials. Internet usage, faxing, printing, copying, & laminating available to the public.
The staff includes a director, five assistant librarians, in addition to several volunteers. The annual operating budget is $104,000, and we receive nearly 20,000 visits per year. The library works closely with Olympia North Elementary School.
Danvers Library is a member of RAILS (Reaching Across Illinois Library Systems).
