The first and second notices will remind customers to return or renew the overdue materials. The third notice, sent by mail, will be a bill for the cost of replacing the materials.

Any resident living in Danvers Township (kindergarten or older) may obtain a library card. There is no charge for the initial card. If the card is lost, patron will be charged $5.00 for a replacement card. The card is valid for 3 years and may be renewed upon expiration, as long as patron remains a Danvers Township resident. Two forms of identification are required, one must show your current mailing address.
A patron must live within Danvers Township to obtain our library card. However, patrons with a valid library card from other public libraries in Central Illinois may check out materials from our library. Likewise, our Library cardholders have borrowing privileges and access to other libraries’ collections.
If an item is not in the Danvers Township Public Library, staff and/or patrons may search the RSAcat online library catalog to find which libraries have it and then have the item conveniently delivered to the Danvers Township Library or a library of your choice. Staff may also be able to help you locate Items that are not in the RSA Cat online library catalog through our InterLibrary Loan Service.
Patrons may use the computers in the library or their own computers at home to search the RSAcat online library catalog for material in our collection or in the collections of other libraries. The RSAcat library catalog is a powerful tool that will help you locate all types of information quickly and easily.
You can:

After searching in RSAcat for the item you want, click on Place Hold next to the item You will be prompted to log on if you have not previously done so. The Submit Hold window appears. If available, select a library where you would like to pick up the item. (Optional) Type an Expiration Date if you want to tell the library that you will not need the item after this date. (Optional) Type a Suspension Start Date and a Suspension End Date if you want to put the hold “on hold.” For example, you are going on vacation. If you enter suspension dates, your name is temporarily removed from the hold queue. At the end of the suspension, your original place in the hold queue is restored.
